Sure but that doesn't direct you. Hence the point of this.

Must admit, I would love a RA7000 nice and big.

Broke my phone today which I use for MM Sad

It doesn't direct you if it is your first time, but if you have a pre-determined route, then you just follow the line ...

If you get lost, you can always flick back to Sat-Nav mode when you hit the road!! Smile

But yes, for first-time case-outs it could prove useful, or for those that don't want to invest in MMap compatible sat-nav. At the end of the day, all you are using the RA for is to get you to the start of the lanes, the lanes themselves are normally self explanatory aren't they!! Thinking

I think you're completely missing the point.

Dont worry ... he often does that ... but we love him anyway.
You now have 2 options:
1) Explain it in more detail and respond to numerous time consuming questions ... all to an end where he still wont get it / agree / see your point.
or
2) Dont bother with the above ... crack open a beer and live your life.

This navigates you between the lanes.

Sure, anyone can crane their neck at memory map, that's what i did for ages. I almost nearly crashed a few times too Razz

Or, you can have the tomtom sing and dance in your ear

"turn left here"
"at the end of the road go right"
etc

showing you the way to the lane

then navigate the lane

then it magically takes you to the start of the next lane <---this is the important bit, anyone can use a satnav, so what?

As you know, in some necks of the woods the lanes are few and far between and require lots of roadwork.

Trying to navigate roads via OS maps is.....interesting.

This takes all the pain away.

It's not GPS, it's NAVIGATION.

I did get the concept then!! Razz

When you start going down the lane, I can hear it now "when possible please make a U-turbn!!" Laughing
