Try www.litewave.co.uk

I got some LED Tubes from there (x4) and some 'beamers'

Look quite good IMO but there are those who will call me a tart for that... of just plain stupid for spending £££ on something like that Smile

I dont care. Gets heads turning at night Smile and its gonna get the drivers on the road to see you.

I bought some but never fitted them. litewave are pretty good.
maplins sometimes have some cheap one's too.
I'd reccommend using cold-cathodes, you don't need an inverter too.

I got some 'glow wire' and never got round to fitting that. That stuff has an inverter but the LED tubed just connect right up to the battery.

The little plastic plate on the left where the choke lever is on the NSR, I drilled a small hole in that and fitted a switch, seperate to all the other electrics.

Work quite well, im just wondering, now its getting darker, ill probably have them on more, what is it gonna do to the battery? Might have to get a charger just in case.

The LED Tubes from LiteWave are "virtualy indestructable" according to them.

There resin LEDs encased in an Acrilic/plastic caseing.

just thought i'd warn you, my friend had blue neon tubes and got pulled by the police and told they were illegal as they are reserved for the emergency services. also green lights are reserved for doctors.

I got red ones shining on the rear wheel and the ground around it, and red illuminating the front 'wheel arch'

I got blue to shine on the side faring and that, apparently is ok, this is because it is illuminating and not shining (forward/backwards).

Sorry... had to be done....
Shouldn't you be visiting www.tartshandbag.co.uk ?

Also something to consider with blue lights on vehicles.... you /can/ look like the police. All well and good, until everyone gets used to seeing blue lights everywhere.... and ignores it when it actually /is/ the police Neutral.

When i had my scooter (Peugeot SpeedFight II) i fitted a blue neon tube underneath, UV tape around the frame and i even fitted a stereo under the seat, with speakers in the side fearings. Didn't half make heads turn and whenever we went on cruises there would be scooters from nowhere just joining on!

Was all gud fun.

On my NSR, i have a Blue Neon tube on either side of the frame illuminating the engine! looks really sweet. Just gotta find somewhere to fit the stereo! Wink
