worst day on the road without coming off!

stuck behind a learner driver at 8am, yes i know we all have to learn sometime but not in the middle of rush hour!

Those priority island chicane things, went through whilst 2 cars were starting to come thorugh at the other end, which was fine until some boy racer decided to sneak in behind those 2 cars causing me to brake sharply and for me to give him the churchill salute (the complete git actually flipped his v's back at me, when he knew he was in the wrong).

A truck with a high cab could not see over a road sign which blocked his vision of me as he was attempting to join the dual carriageway. Im on a 125 in the slow lane, i have no hope in hell in joining the fast lane with all the suits speeding past and was very lucky that this trucker spotted me at the last minute causing him to brake abruptly (i actually thought i was going to die there and then) In hindsight i should have hit the horn, but honestly it was a situation with minimal reaction time.

Gets home to find my driveway is completely blocked by.... you guessed it...another car. Had to push the bike 50 yards on the pavement just to get in my garden.

It's a good job i'm not in a steel cage comfort zone and that i'm actually concentrating on what the hell i'm doing.

If the car is parked right up behind another, then park right up the other end so they can't get out. Then have a beer so you "can't" get back on it (or just say you've had one).

I get days where I feel everyone is out to get me, pulling out of junctions without looking, crossing lanes without looking/indicating. I put it down to my own inexperience and try to learn from it, and enjoy the days when it's better.
