Hi all, Mod 2 Passed Today

Hi everyone.

Just passed my Mod 2 today at the first attempt.

Had 1 clunky gear change that the examiner mentioned, but bar that he said everything was ok. Over the moon.

Now just need to save some cash and get myself a bike sorted out.

I was on the road roughly half an hour. Mind you, I was concentrating so much, it seemed like 5 minutes. My instructor took me for a brisk run thru some twisties on the way back. I loved it, even on the old bomb training bike Very Happy

No bike yet, got to save up. Hoping to get something sorted before the summer is out.

Fantastic feeling having passed 1st time, especially considering before May, my only biking experience was a 300 yard run on a field bike about 25 years ago.

Congrats!! Its an awesome feeling after the examiner tells you that you have passed. With me it didnt sink in untill an hour later and then i couldnt stop grinning Very Happy

I might have a wander over Westgate Hill tomorrow, get a look about and see what's on the go. There's so many bikes that can be "first bike", my head spins when I think about it.

Your instructor must have been using the Hill as a motivational tool, and it obviously worked if you passed next time Smile
