Quality bike, my mate had a vf400 (similar shape) as his first "big" bike. Very smooth I remember it being, and I bet thats the same ____________________ TL1000s, KDX200 |

Looks great.
Glad there are some of these still about and running strong.
Have been tempted by the VF1000R a couple of times, but they demand quite a premium if in tidy condition. ____________________ Current: Ducati Panigale R / Ducati Streetfighter S / Suzuki GSX-R1000 L5 |

you can pick them up over here quite cheaply,
the soft cam reputation has kept the price down
not that it affected us, but with the internet, you know how it is,
so for your money over here, its probably one of the best bang for your buck bikes on the market, there is a r for sale at the moment for 5k
(2000 quid) 36000km on the clock
https://images.trademe.co.nz/photoserver/15/120244315_full.jpg
for that money, the best you could hope for here is a il4 250cc or a bandit6 that has 150000km on the clock, may be an old oil boiler, or a bike thats been crashed, ____________________ the humans are dead

In Australia a red / black VF400 (or even a 350?) used to park next to me, horrid looking thing with a large drum brake on the front wheel.
However, when we came home and I was after a cheap as chips bike an 1984 Interceptor in red and cream stood out a mile, missed out by a few quid and then found the TRX, still looked good after all these years though. ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |

Looks really good! Only problem I'd have owning a bike like that is I'd be too tempted to stick modern suspension (USDs) & modern wheels (190 section rear tyre) on it. ____________________ Current bikes: suzuki RG125UN wolf. Yamaha MT-07 |

That's actually not that bad! But don't like the profile of those tyres so I agree with BenR.
And I'd also take the bikini fairing off and run it naked
I HATE bikini fairings.
Nice bike though ____________________ '99 Hornet 600 , VFR 400 NC30 '92 , Kasawamasaki GT 550 , '98 Hornet 600

Bad times.
Radiator behind the light? Random.
Does it look that ugly if you take the fairing off? ____________________ '99 Hornet 600 , VFR 400 NC30 '92 , Kasawamasaki GT 550 , '98 Hornet 600
