RF 600 R Breaking/ Swapping

[chrisday90210]

Hello all,

I am toying with the idea of breaking my rf600r. She is a 1998 model in metallic blue with 25,700 miles on the clock.

It has a knocking noise under load above 3-4000 rpm but nothing at all when stationary so i think drive chain related.

I have changed the oil and nothing dropped out of the bottom of the engine so that supports my drive chain assumption.

I dont have time to diagnose the problem, despite sounding fairly simple on the surface of it, as we have just moved house and apparently fitting a new bathroom suite/ decking/ decorating is far more important!!

If enough people want bits off of it then i'll break it or if someone fancies trying to fix her then i will, of course, sell as a whole bike, any offers considered

I would also swap for a 125/250/ electric moped/ off roady type bike or something idea for a short commute - try me???!!!

If you want some photos then give me a shout and i'll send some over...

Any questions... give me a shout

Chris
