How many times did it take you to pass your test and how long did you learn for? Thanks

Did you find it quite easy to learn in 3 days or do you think you needed more time, cuz I am thinking about doing an intensive course and wondered how long it would be for me to pass, I have had a bike before but never ridden on the road.

I thought it was easy enough. Had been driving for years beforehand though, so that made it a lot easier cos the 'roadsense' is already there.

It was about £350 including the test and the CBT. That was in Scotland though.

Did 3 day DAS course in May 2002. Got 2 minors + passed 1st time Very Happy .
Had riden before in 1993 on a RG125 gamma on 'L's for a couple o years. Had to do my friggin CBT again before I could do the DAS course - my old CBT ran out in 1996. Should have done my test first time round didnt think I would get back into bikes again at the time. No going back now though Laughing Got a ol' 1989 GPz750 - cheap speed lol on the road all for under a grand!

Err ! Lets see, 15 + years ago passed test, none of this examiner following on a bike, then I lost licence and was told to re-take test !

Gave up bikes at that stage.

July 2003 I did the CBT, Sept I did the Theory passed first time round, Oct 14th I did Practical and passed with only 2 faults.
