Motorcycle Hire - Cannes, France

Hi

I'm going to be in Cannes for about 2 weeks this August (I know, worst time to be there).

I was wondering if anyone can recommend a place to hire motorbikes?

I was also wondering if anyone can recommend good routes to ride around. It has been suggested that I head towards the mountains, but would love to hear everyone's experiences.

D6202 along the River Vars is spectacular with the road hugging a cliff through the gorge, unlit roughly hewn tunnels add to the excitement.
Other rivers in the area are similar having cut deep gorges with roads threaded through.
It's not far to the Col du Vars which had huge amounts of snow remaining when I went over early June - only just reopened.

I stayed at a campsite near Grasse and the owner insisted "Il faut prendrer La Route de Castellane" - good advice.

The road along the sea front is one mad traffic jam and scary - with lots of broken glass, indicators and motorbike fairing fragments at every turn off
