Can I just ask, do all triples sound like a bus or lorry when accelerating from low down revs?

My 955i certainly did, and still does. A mate of mine now has it and I think its approaching 50,000 miles and is approaching 13 years old. Still runs perfectly well.

I see, sounds normal then.

Does make me chuckle a little when it makes the burble rumble, then comes the effortless wave of power and torque just like being on the bus too.
