Hey guys,

Just a quick question;

I was reading through the manual for the 350 under the maintenance section and it says about Balancer chain tension. am i right in thinking this is another name for a cam chain? I asked my uncle and he looked at me like i'm insane so........

Sounds easy enough to adjust, the bike sounds like the chain is rattling slightly which is hardly suprising as all the previous owner did was change the oil every now and again.
Does the engine have to be at TDC before hand? I cant see why it should as its just the chain tension but its good to make sure

Thanks
Rob Thumbs Up

No, your bike should have two balancer chains that turn balancers that smooth out the engine and were designed to reduce the size of the flywheels on superdream models. one balancer is located at the front of the engine and one behind the crankshaft and the chains do need adjusting trom time to time.
