i think you'll find that they are all in km, with the miles beneath,
your only options are
1, suck it up,
2, pull apart the speedo and get a new face plate made up
3, install a speedo healer, so the km will read in miles

You could use these stickers (they are advertised at the bottom of this page).

https://www.busters-accessories.co.uk/productInfo.aspx?catRef=MKC2&kw=kph+to+mph

one of these and a 'mph' sticker to cover the original 'kph' wording on the speedo..

should be all you need, obviously this only works for bikes with cable driven speedos, not digital.. had one of these on my gsx-r 400 and found it to be pretty accurate all the way up to it's top speed.

When I was rolling on an import 400 I just put tip-ex lines onto the face of the speedo, after a while I just got used to "k clocks" and would automatically translate it to mph mentally.

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought that all u.k bikes had to be calibrated in both KPH and MPH for MOT purposes, I recently took a scooter (daelim) for MOT which had a MPH sticker fitted over the original KPH dial and the bike failed.

Under construction and use rules they must have mph and kmh, but it isn't an MOT issue (although I have heard that the driving test people won't let you do your test on a bike with an mph sticker).

All the best

i have other idea Smile
you can add other digital speedometer, which shows miles, not kilometers Smile

i am making these, and i can send you one for 20usd Smile and some $ for shipping i think

usually it is in km/h, but i can change it.

thats picture(sorry for the bad quality...) of it(it can be with different size of the led indicators) :

as you see from the picture it have 2 cables - one for power supply and one for the sensor. exactly on this picture have about 1,5m cables for power and sensor and ~15cm for the led indicators

it gets signal from the wheel
on it should have magnet(it is included in the kit) and the sensor should be on the motorcycle frame - about 1-5mm from the magnet.

on my bike the magnet is on the rear sprocket(on the top of one of the screws

thats it Smile
