couple of threads with people asking about these including myself, but not really any feedback anywhere, and most people who haven't seen them just say "cheap shite, dont buy" or similar but being a student i am fighting hard to afford to keep my bike going so i need bargains.

Bought the wavy ones off ebay for my J1 zx6 at£170 delivered (same price as non-wavy), arrived the next day and look amazing. i decided to fork out the £45 for the local garage to fit them, would have done them myself but they have a years warranty as long as they are professionally fitted. Two sets of EBC HH pads bring the total spend to £265 (the same as the standard EBC discs are).

took my time bedding them in and kept an over-eager eye out for marks/cracks/warping, once i had done around 100 miles and forgot about them.
they have been on now for close to 1000 miles and passed MOT yesterday so they are still straight and true.

in my opinion they are even more powerful that with the OEM EBC discs, very responsive and shead speed like you hit a wall. Having said that i haven't tracked them, this has just been while hooning around the lakes, never faded, heat up quickly and i have total confidence in them.

If you can afford to go for brand names by all means buy them, but these days cheap does not always mean crap and to avoid them like the plague.

i have just bought another much talked about cheapie- a pair of Maxxis presa sport tyres for £123 delivered! i will post some feed back when i have used them, only fitted yesterday

i hope this was useful

Dan

Mine have been on for a few thousand miles, no complaints here, really good bite, had to turn the pazzo's down so they weren't as sharp.

Holy thread resurrection Batman!

Just thought I'd resurrect this to give some more feedback.

At the end of last year I purchased some standard pattern (not wavey) replacement front discs for the Bandit6. Kagizume came up fairly cheap and so took the plunge and purchased some through sandy's bike spares.

I forget how much I paid - roughly £180 I think for both.

I'd just like to say that after almost 3000 miles they have done a stirling job, show no signs of wear and I would happily recommend them as a perfectly acceptable replacement.

I can't speak for rear discs, wavey patterns or track use but I *have* used these discs quite hard on occasions and never had an issue.

Hope that helps somebody anyway... Mr. Green
