I've seen a few things like them on TV, but never in the flesh. Strikes me as a great idea for improving aero efficiency and weather protection with some modifications, shame it's so fucking ugly!

I believe it is a Quasar which was a Honda cx500 and vt500e based concept feet forward bike that never caught on from the early 1980s

Saw a BMW C1 on the road the other day, the first time I'd ever seen one outside a showroom window.

USed to see them all the time in London, about 10 years ago when I was scootering. Still see the occasional one, indeed I saw one last week coming down Ken High Street.

If I remember correctly there was a few different models which ended up with a vt500 engine although I cant be sure if the bike is actually that model. I had a run on/in a Quasar in 1978 and must say that it handled very well but the feet forward thing took a bit of getting used to.

https://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1298198220744463326#

Thats the guy who i presume build it judging by some of his modifications to other things. Even has some on board riding footage.

Chassis and the build. If i had the money and a work shop i'd love to have a go at building something like that only better looking Laughing

If it doesn't look like a Moto GP bike it's not progress it's regress .

Progress through evolution, development in a race environment.

If it can't race, it can't cope with the traffic light GP. Therefore extinction!
