I believe the reason why my NSR is losing power is because the rings need to be changed.

I've heard that when ordering new rings I need to order slightly bigger ones, does anyone know how much bigger? Also if anyone has any tips on changing the rings please post 'em.

You only need bigger ones if your getting a rebore, or if it has been rebored previously.

I did the rings on my CB250, so they should be easy on the NSR. Get a standard size set and we can fit them when you bring the next GPz down.

You might need to check if your exhaust pipe is blocked. It's not neccessary to be a piston ring's problem that cause your bike losing power.

Anyway, i would appreciate if someone can share a workshop manual on how to clean up Exhaust and replace Piston rings for NSR 125R here sicne i'm looking for one myself as well.
Cool Cool Cool
