Went to see / collect my first bike today, a Honda XR 125cc 4 stroke and it seemed to like cutting out.

Firstly thought it could just be that it hasn't been ridden in a while but once warmed up it still did'nt sound too healthy.

Putting it into first killed it nearly every time but on the occasion where I could get going it actually all felt ok until you come to a stop where it will just cut out on you.

I did'nt buy it as I have read some stuff about cutting out problems that can be a pain in the bum, adjusting the idle speed did not do anything either so I just couldn't commit to risking my savings! Confused

Also being a new rider and it cutting out at junctions like it did when I test rode it did'nt exactly feel good, especially as it does'nt want to start again. Managed to bump start it down a hill and then took it back Thumbs Up

Anyone have any clue why this could be.. ? Hope I made the right decison anyway.

Cheers Very Happy
