Personally, from what I've heard they're a waste of time as you should be able to learn more than they teach easily enough yourself.

I'm in a bit of a quandry - I've recently (2 weeks ago) upgraded from a very tricked up GPX 250 to a ZX6R. Oddly after upping the grunt of my bike (as I've wanted to do for a while) I feel the standard of my riding has dropped - due to The Fear!
I know it's all about practise practise practise ( and I'm out all the time) - I'm just trying to find a good confidence builder.
Odd - more power has led to less confidence... ... for now anyway!

Don't worry, you should get used to it fairly quickly. Modern sports bikes can go VERY fast compared to what most people are used to, so it's quite an experience.

If you stick your postcode/location in your profile, someone close might even be able to give you some wheelie pointers if you're lucky .
