Am I alone in thinking that it's all a massive f*cking con?
I phone up my insurance company about the price hike of moving to a nicer area (quieter, less crime, etc), only to find out that they charged me for the privilige of moving house: A so called administration fee or something or other else. Because it obviously costs lots and lots to tell the underwriters and modify a couple of lines of information...
Moan over.
Any thoughts/experiences?

It would appear that I'm not alone in thinking this ____________________ Benson: Wouldn't life be easier if we were all turtles?

All in all there was about another £50 added to my policy which I've now had removed, and I've decided to not add someone as a named rider on my policy as they'll probably whack more fees on top of (understandably) increasing my premium for adding on a beginner.
But such is life I suppose. Getting the fees removed was a rather painless process this time around (just lots of "please stay on hold"). So all I can do is be a good boy, otherwise they'll probably add on a £75 fee in the event of processing a claim... ____________________ Benson: Wouldn't life be easier if we were all turtles?

When I passed my motorbike test they charged me for telling them!!
They didn't even give me money back which they should have as my insurance premium had come down due to the full licence, I'd only had policy out a month too! |
