Bike schools in the Birmingham area

So, the Mothership has decided that she wants to learn to ride, and I've offered to pay for her CBT as a birthday present.

She lives in Birmingham, while I live in Liverpool, so I have no idea about any of the schools round there. Can anyone recommend a good bike school in the area?

Is she bang in the centre or in the surrounds?

I was taught by a bloke at Cradley Kawasaki (Taught my old man back in the day, and my brother too). A bit stern sometimes but he doesn't mess about and tell's you when you're doing well. He's called John Cracknell (SP maybe) and if she's close enough he's properely worth it.

She lives in Bartley Green, but has a car so she can go wherever.

Any idea how much RMT charge for a CBT?

I did mine at streetbike mate in halesowen, i also live in bartley green and its about 10 mins up the road. Friendly bunch of lads and quite an established place as well, deffo reccomend them.

I knew there was a place in Halesowen, but I couldn't remember the name...

And jesus titty-fecking christ CBT's are expensive down your way! I paid £70 for mine!

I'll have to take the Mothership to a few places and see what she thinks.
