Valentino Rossi announces shock move

After minutes and even hours of speculation Rossi has finally announced his plans for 2011.

"As someone amazing as myself with a cupboard full of awards and often meaningless trophies it was important for me that I found a way to remind myself in 2011 of how amazing I am."

"For sure it was a difficult decision but after turning down an offer of 500 million from Ducati I decided to race next year with Vespa."

"They have an amazing track record of being able to bolt on the most mirrors to two wheeled vehicles, something no other manufacturer has ever bothered trying to do."

Riders have all reacted with shocked expressions and confusion apart from Lorenzo.

"He is arrogant, his own face on his helmet, a wall in the pit and he even applied for planning permission to get a wall built across the Mediterranean incase I tried to look across at him in Italy over the winter."

Whilst Vespa don't have a brilliant or even existant track record in Moto GP some reports suspect Rossi to be leading the race at the first turn of Qatar as he angles his mirrors to blind every other rider utilising the flood lights that are supposed to help the riders see where they're going.

Pedrosa says sorry

After winning todays race at Sachsenring Pedrosa was forced to send out an apology.

All was going well on the slow down lap as he waved to fans and accepted congratulations from fellow riders. Sadly upon standing on the top step things went sour.

"I must apologise for my irresponsible actions, got caught up in the moment and failed to control myself. I realise now that I was banned from smiling because it makes me look like the type of person who would finger your cat"

Dorna has reacted by saying that Dani will be heavily penalised for his error by making him enter the next race with no leathers or brakes, however he will be given pole position without riding and will also have his brake lines cut.

A statement read "I can't believe Dani has been so irresponsible, my 2 kids have just shat on the settee and my cat is dead, lets see the little fucker smile when he goes into the first corner at well over 100mph naked with no brakes, tosser.
