 |
|
I am now the proud(ish) owner of some nice Dainese Leathers courtesy of ebay...they were pretty clean but obviously hadn't been conditioned for a while and they smelt of exhaust fumes.
Which raises the problem, how to clean and condition them?
And the answer, I have discovered, is: Autoglym motorbike leather cleaner and (in a separate bottle) Autoglym motorbike cream.
This is AMAZING stuff. I've just spent an hour doing my jacket and it looks fantastic and feels great. Jacket still smells of exhaust, but less so. Maybe all the other leather cleaners do a good job too, but I'm very impressed overall. It's almost like magic! ____________________ Current: Yamaha Diversion XJ900

I use Dubbin. It's the bees knees and cheap. ____________________ Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter won't mind - Dr. Seuss |

If you *really* wanna get leathers, or textiles, or helmet or boots or gloves properly clean, conditioned, protected.
Scrubbers Leathers.
They've been doing it 12 years. All the bike mags rave about them - they make all their own products and they spend a 10-14 days cleaning each item of kit.

However clean you think you've got kit - they will get it cleaner.
The best bit is the price - you'll spend nearly as much on cleaner, re-proofer etc etc to do a worse job doing it yourself. |
