Is it possible to request history of sorn from the DVLA? Or is it a case of once the Sorn confirmation comes through and subsequently binned that its lost forever? ____________________ Hornet 600, CBR600F, 929 blade, 07 R1, R1200GS, 09 Blade, 750 SRAD, ZZR1200, 954 Blade, KTM 990 Adventure, Ducati 749s |

I know you can check the MOT History online, might be worth a shot. ____________________ [Current Bikes - GSXR-750 K5 & C90-97 ] [Previous Bikes: Runner 125, YBR 125, GS500, Bandit 600, Hornet 600, ZX6R-99, C90-99, R1-99, XT600E-04, GSXR-750 K4, CRF250L '16] |

Hmm, will give the old MOT route a look see. i'm going to sell a bike that i've been sorning since 2003/4. Figured if I could get the old sorns it would be proof so to speak of the low mileage. Bikes not worth a fortune so doesnt matter so much but the more paper work the better!
Cheers guys will have a go with what you've suggested although months of wrangling i cant be arsed with. ____________________ Hornet 600, CBR600F, 929 blade, 07 R1, R1200GS, 09 Blade, 750 SRAD, ZZR1200, 954 Blade, KTM 990 Adventure, Ducati 749s |

Sorry for the hijack, as I've got nothing to add mate sorry, but out of curiousity from browsing through this thread, I've just done the old MOT thingymajig for the bike I purchased last month and is SORN'd in my garage. Found some nasty surprises. Urrgh
On the upside it seems a fair bit has been sorted out but I've still got alot to do.
I easily paid too much for that sh*theap.
Once again, sorry for the hijack.
As you were!
Cheers,
Steve. |
