An extra nine grand a year!? Either you had a shit job to start with or servicing caravans pays more than I thought. What's the salary then?

Nice one.

I received my first pay check from my new job yesterday.

It's lovely to be paid more after tax than I was before tax in my old job. Thumbs Up Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I got my first pay slip from my new job on Friday, I got more for 3 week's work in this job than I got paid in 2 months in my last job. Feels good to get a new job you enjoy doing that pays decent money Smile

Well done on the new job BenR Thumbs Up

Onwards and upwards! On my last job-change 13 years ago I doubled my earnings, and increased it severalfold since then.

I earn £12 a week in travel fares for an unpaid placement for my NVQ Thumbs Down

Leave in 2 weeks, and haven't yet got a job lined up. Not good.

EDIT: I cycle to avoid the spending of aforementioned fares. Shush Laughing

I earnt more in two days in my new job than two months in my previous job, but that was because I didn't get all my money off my previous employer.

I get my first pay slip on Friday. Can't wait. Should have around £320 for two weeks work after tax, rent and petrol money.

I love my new job. Came with some nice benefits as well like life insurance and access to company cars Very Happy
