getting a tv cross country

just moved down to kent from glasgow and wondering the best way to get my tv down, its a 32" flat screen thingy and sadly it wouldnt fit in the car when i drove down so its still sitting up at the home in glasgow.


i've posted many things but nothing as big as a tv so was wondering what was the best way? dhl?, parcel force etc?

any help would be appreciated.

I've always sent everything with APC. They have an office just up the road from me. Really good service.

They will take anything really.
I sent my complete Bandit1200 front end the other day, Forks, yokes and wheel. All built up.

I've sent car doors through them before, Boot lids etc.

A 32" TV isn't massively expensive second hand. If you're only down for a year then it may work out cheaper to buy another one and then sell it after a year. Overall loss of 50-100 quid at most.

Or you could then have 2 TVs. One for Xbox, one next to it for porn.

As long as it's proportional to your living room I don't see how it makes you a cock. Sarah and I have a 32" in the living room and it is neither too small nor too big. I remember a friend of mine having a 50" at the foot of his bed, now THAT was ri-donk-ulous.

I think you will find 32" is pretty much an average size of tv for most these days. In fact lots consider it small. I consider the 32" in our bedroom the ideal size, and the 42" in the living room a reasonable size. Though id always be happier with a few extra inches
In fact you will find most scrotes and dole wallers/ benefit leeches etc would turn their noses up at a 32" tv. They all seem to have 40+ screens from crazy georges/Brighthouse with a coin box strapped to the back.
Its obviously more important to these folks to have a fook off great tv than it is to have nappies for their kids and carpets, food etc but thats another story

oops my bad rapdude gave bad feedback by accident.

anyway the car is pretty small, is an mx5 so had hardly any space in it.

as for getting another tv down here, i have no set date to go back to glasgow, could be a month, could be never. bought the tv when it was on special offer and money is a bit tight right now so would rather just ship it down as long as its not stupidly expensive.

would £15 to £25 be a good estimate for it?
