Dark art - suspension settings

Just got two new tyres on the GSXR along with a service. The engineer who took it for a test ride said the suspension settings were "rock hard". TBH I have no idea how to adjust them and haven't touched them since I got the bike (14,500 miles ago). the ride can be a bit bumpy but I put that down to being a sports bike. No issues on the bends IMO.

I usually ride without a pillion and enjoy twisties (but surfaces are typical UK road standard). Any suggestions on set up etc?

If you think the bike is OK in bends, then its OK. Its not a Pan European, its not set up for comfort.

There should be some static sag though, depending on your weight. Have a read of this:

And if the sag is OK and you think the bike handles OK then leave it.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
