So today I bought my very first one piece race suit after years of craving one. Its an RST in gunmetal.

The only problem is... once it's on, it doesnt come off! haha! Is there a certain way of pulling it off without a helping hand lol

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated Smile

A bit of dancing helps me, especially since I have a seperate back protector in it! One way is to get a decent undersuit that will help keep you cool but will also let your leathers slip on and off easier, nothing worse than being sweaty and trying to prise the lining of your one piece off!

Another thing to remember is that they will give a little over the next few days if worn and you will start picking up the technique!

I love my one piece, congrats and good luck!

Mate's got a video of me getting out of mine and what i do is as soon as I get one sleeve off, I just hop to yank the other arm.

Base layers are a MUST in summer! I made the mistake of NOT wearing one for a short blast and regretted it. My leathers are vented AND fully perforrated and still couldn't remove them.

Talcum powder helps but is only a temporary measure. Spend 50 quid on a set of base layers - 2 piece ideally since you can piss and shit without having to remove the base layers. You can use them as a sweat wick in summer and an insulating layer in winter. Dead handy!

My 2-piece is much harder to get off than my 1-piece - particularly the pants. I think it means the 2-piece fits better.

I always struggle to get my arms our of my 1 piece, and end up flapping like a bird to fling the arms of the suit off my arms. Looks ridiculous but it works Laughing

Definitely some jumping/flapping about needed for decent fitting one piece leathers if you don't have a helping hand.
Probably get a bit better as you wear them in a bit.

LOL!
My one-piece was a custom made job, made to fit by Swift Leathers, back in 1991.
It is with great PRIDE that I can say that 19 years later, I am the exact same size and shape I was when I was 21!
Yeah.....
Well they've ALWAYS been a bit awkward to get off... ask ANY-ONE!
Now stop laughing, and pull the fuckking other leg!

One arm out, then a alot of hopping round in circles to get the other arm out!

When its hot, and sweaty, the lining on the inside sticks to me, so that usually comes out as well!

No, I wear some Draggin jeans, and a leather jacket for a to b rides.

The one piece comes out when I go for a fast ride somewhere, or for a track day. I actually like wearing it, its comfy when its on, and makes me feel safer!

No Iv'e not got the armour, I walk around in them all day, my work is only 4 miles away from my house, on busy 30mph roads, so there's not really much point in wearing the armour. Work is really the only place I commute to, if I'm going to the shops I'll just take the car, and if I'm out on a fast ride then its the one piece!

3 hours and not a single offer of one-to-one help from the members of BCF. I'm impressed.

I was expecting the very first post to be perverted... then progressively worse!

I'm struggling to get the first arm out; after that it's easy!

My made to measure leathers are ridulously hard to get in and out of. I must look like a complete tit, and that's with a base layor on too. Laughing

I can't get out of mine without having some help.

I got home the other day and no-one was in. I had to sit down and think about how I was going to remove them. Ended up flapping about on a door handle to try and pry me out of them Wink

Must have looked a right nutter Neutral
