 |
|
I just received this mail from a mate and fellow Ariel enthusiast in the USA. I have not got a clue but I do doubt selling a number would not be that easy any advice please.
| Quote: | Wali,
I'm considering bidding on a Huntmaster on ebay which closes on Sunday but need some advice and maybe/probably some help:
https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230500358716&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
It is located in Grimsby, Humberside, United Kingdom which I see is in the North East near the coast.
I see it is about 140-150 miles from Birmingham.
The seller talks about it having "TRANSFERABLE REGISTRATION WITH VALUE OF £1500.00."
Is that a realistic value?
If I purchased the bike, could I then sell the transferable registration on ebay or something?
Or how does one sell them?
It would have no value to me in USA and would help me subsidize the purchase price and/or shipping.
Do you know anyone trustworthy up that way who would help with purchase, crating, and transport to a shipper (after I find one I could afford)?
I would pay for help with those items, of course.
Comments, advice, or volunteers, please.
Thank you,

I can't see why an overseas owner of the plate being held on retention wouldn't be possible, or you or a UK friend holding it for him .
fee's and stuff are on the .gov site.
