22mm 7/8" Rad Hose

I need less than a foot of water pipe, just to go from the thermostat to the top of the rad on the CB500.

Measured the other pipes (which fits onto the unions) and its 22mm/ 7/8".... Been ringing round all the car shops and they're saying that its some ancient pipe that isnt used anymore and modern pipe only goes up to 3/4"....

Surely cars have bigger bore water pipes than bikes??

Got some 22 mm hose from a small independent shop a few years ago. The sort of shop with grease on the floor.

Found some on ebay, fiver for a metre....

A shop I rang up wanted me to buy a genuine "hose kit" for about 80 quid

I was hoping some car shop would just have a roll of it and sell it by the metre but ebay saved the day
