I finally got out and about on the bike today and I'm pretty sure I am getting addicted, Anyway when i got back with it good and hot i dropped the oil and cleaned out the mesh, then popped off the clutch cover and took the centrifugal filter apart...

I keep meaning to do this (clean out oil filters) on the YBR as I've never done it. There's also a strainer in the engine to clean up too. Didn't do it last service as the clutch cover gasket hadn't arrived in time, so next oil change it is then! Why they don't bother with an outer filter that you chuck away, I'll never know.
