Starter solenoid? (spelling)

Check the connectors to the battery.

Should be near the main fuse. Can only bypass it and check.

I would check the batter for 12.6v If not you will be lucky to get a starter. Solenoid should be black i suppose. Never worked on a scooter. Track from the battery + back then you should find the main fuse and the solenoid.

It sounds to me like you have a flat battery. Give it a good charge first.

The solenoid is the thing that is making the clicking noise.

as said, charge your battery.
Most bikes start clicking when the battery hasn't got enough juice to spin the starter
