Hi guys and girls i need a little help, my R6 is running a little rough , it only seems to feel rough when its warm like after a good 10 minute ride and only when im pulling away from stopping... it feels like its bogging down but picks up after a few seconds and feels normal again... any ideas as to what it could be ?

Ive raised the idle a tad from 1000 to under 1500 to as the revs gradually dropped when i stopped and it use to cut out...

My bikes a 2000 R6 and has just ticked over 25,000 miles ive so far replaced :

Spark plugs
Oil and Oil filter
Air filter
Fuel filter

ive ordered a new chain and sprockets as there pretty worn but wanted to see if anyone would have any ideas, so i could get to the bottom of this.

Thanks in advance Thumbs Up

Shitty fuel?

I filled up with Tescos last week and on the ride out noticed it was vibey and really wasn't pulling, stuck some Vpower in and definitely noticed a difference, thinking it was a crappy batch of fuel.

Thanks for the reply guys Thumbs Up i got in from work yesterday and had nothing planned so broke out my haynes manual and decided to see if balancing the carbs would sort it and with a bit of tweaking and breathing in some fumes and a little help from a friend to hold my tank its sorted it, balancing the carbs was at the bottom of my to do list as i knew it was gonna be fairly difficult for someone not so mechanically minded.

Thanks again chaps , much appreciated.

Did it help? Definitely worth checking valve clearances if not.

Check your throttle cables as well.

Had a problem with my ER5 where it would sit there for a bit and then just die and the cables slowly returned.

Changed them and now it's all good! Smile
