Got a lesson from JD on how to wheelie, started on clutch ups, but after a scary clutch up moment which went a little too high, we decided to hit the dual carriage ways to practice on holding the wheelie. I was doing 1st gear power wheelies and JD doing his thing;

Enjoy!!!

Those forks have taken a bit of a bashing Laughing I know what you mean about clutch ups, First decent one I did felt like I was vertical Laughing In reality it was maybe a foot off the ground. Haven't done one since.

I was watching thinking "How the hell is he power wheelying an R6" Laughing Then i read your sig.

Cool vid, looks like your getting the hang of it. I've till got to man up & have a proper practice but i'm similar to Marki. Although my bike does do quite a few unintentionally power wheelies & they come up/down very gently but can never replicate them.

N30 showed me how to very simply bounce up the bike just by reving to 6k ish, quick power off, power on back to roughly the same revs then just steadily increase the revs. Pretty much works 8 times out of ten on my CBR6 and I am really bad.

Interesting technique, and simple. Sounds like that will be good for motorway wheelies, or high mph wheelies.

I tried a 2nd gear clutch up on JDs bike, I managed a whole inch Laughing Laughing Laughing I soon gave up after that and just watched him on my bike.

Ciaran, set the sound setting to lo, otherwise you get that annoying white noise Laughing Only set it to high if you attach it to your helmet Wink

And they're based towards Reading. More Newbury/Guildgord. BW is south of Oxford... I'm in between Laughing We usually meet up at H cafe, south of Oxford it seems on monday nights (even though I am bikeless) Sad

And JD can wheelie, I was honestly surprised by those wheelies and I've seen him do far far better ones Thumbs Up

Bish, try putting the camera on the bike? It'll be easier to see when you're wheelieng as sometimes it took me a couple of seconds you had hoisted it up Laughing

God I need a bike again Sad

One thing I will say, JD wheelied better on his FZ6.

Good to meet some more chaps off here on Monday and the old faces as well Wink, I like H Cafe, much nicer than Ace I think. Nicer ride up there too!
