Sent. Makes me angry as you know it will probably get swept under the carpet and closed.

Will send an objection tomorrow with a clear head.

Don't these "people" realise that all they're doing is further pushing riders onto off piste routes, not stopping them riding?

See if you can get the accident figures on the route in question from the highway authority for the last 3 recorded years. Their road safety group should be able to get them in a few minutes.

There won't be any, which makes one of their reasons for the TRO look just plain vindictive. Then you can try for the 'leave bikes out of the TRO bit' cos they don't do as much damage as 4 wheel drives and horsehoof prints.

From what I can make out, the lanes are here:-

538

https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&q=51.273778,+-0.459067

539

https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&q=51.243908,+-0.460365

Which puts them right on the edge of https://eydis.fantasy-hr.com/style_emoticons/light/gay.gif route ....... Shocked

Funnily enough, one of the parish councillors lives off one of these lanes. I wonder what influence that has had. (A Mrs F Harrison, according to their website.

Minutes of the recent planning meeting here. I've asked if a verbatim record exists.

The decision to go ahead is clearly stated as being against the recommendations of the SCC officials. That's democracy for you...

I don't know, the minutes would pretty much stitch them up if it went to a judicial review.

Indeed, if the TRO did get applied I think even the threat of a review from the TRF would cause them to back down.
