Tbf load, reload and st anger werent great, but they still did and continue to kick ass live.

st anger had a serious lack if guitar solo's. James hasn't the same voice he had in the days of justice and even the black album. As for the 3 that came before, kill em all, ride the lightning and master, they are examples of sublime metal works of art.

But havin grown up with them they do diserve respect. Just a shame they lost it by being arrogant twats and releasing shite to sell rather than makin great music

Death Magnetic is brilliant....

Went to see them twice on this tour Sheffield was an amazing gig which is why we booked at the O2, not as good but blamed the venue for that.

The earlier albums were without doubt awesome (esp Master of Puppets )

Anyway, the program is pretty cool. Its not all Metallica, theres some dude chopping stuff up with a chainsaw and a moto x bike coming up too.

Watching it all slowed down is pretty trippy, times like this i wish i still toked

i watched half of the show before finding out that dave gilmour was on sky arts live from the albert hall and followed by floyd doin dark side live from the pulse tour.... No contest im afraid. Channel changed instantly
