I have had the DTR for just under a year and when i got the bike it was lovely and clean well looked after and had some very good parts ( which are still on the bike ) infact it stayed it this condition if not better and more looked after while i had it. Unfortunatly it has gone a little down hill in terms of condition as i let a cousin use it for around 3 months. In this space of time he has managed to snap the key in the ignition barrel, break the ball on the end of the front brake lever, somehow loose the back brake pads ( i think i do have some though which i will include with the bike ) also since lending i to him it is leaking somewhere along the cooling system as the rad needs topping up every 40 miles or so ( or at worst may be a head gasket problem ). Other than that its just a well used DT.
The bike has Excel supermoto wheels, Brembo brakes on the front and is fully de restricted. I have taken it out a few times since getting it back and despite the fact of not being able to use the rear brake it still runs feels and rides really nice, its still as fast as ever. Front loves to come up and its great round corners.
Bike is currrently SORN. Mot runs out on Aug 1st, Tax in Aug also i think.
I reckon with 150 quid and a bit of time you could get this bike back to how it was a year ago, perfect !
I just have not got the time at the moment and im after a quick sale as im going on holiday and want some spending money. I also need the room for my next bike i should be getting next week.
