Is there a shop in London where I can get engine parts for a 2005 V-Star XVS1100/A? I need head gaskets, exhaust valve, and other misc parts. I live in a remote island in the south pacific but will be in London next week, and was hoping to pick up some parts while there. Thanks.

Metropolis motorcycles, right on Vauxhall station, will be able to get them for you. They're a big dealer and carry the franchise for lots of brands.

Thanks Robby, I will look them up, appreciate the help.

Chr15, you are right, this is a small island, I can circle the island in a little over an hour if Im riding fast. The good thing is I can ride year round. I have a 250 for trips to town, as its easier to maneuver but the 1100 is to cruise on the country roads. I dont know I just love to ride.

why on earth would you want a bike that big on an island less than 20 miles long!

Similar power to a sports 250 doesn't exactly make it a speed demon when compared to modern fair.

Can you do mail order while you're here - get a friend or similar to do the order with their credit card and give them cash? May be worth looking in to.
Wemoto is good for generic parts: https://www.wemoto.com/bikes/Yamaha/XVS_1100_A_Dragstar_Classic/03-05/
After that, google for yamaha parts places with google.co.uk and should come up with plenty that will deliver next day.
