Cagiva Mito Evo 125 - 1999 - Gap of power

Hi! Please, anyone, help me to understand the problem I'm facing with this bike that I've just bought.
I'm from Brazil and we don't have many of these bikes around here, so most mechanics don't know how to solve it's problems.
My bike is used in a Race Track and it has a gap of power between 4,000 and 6,000 RPM that is really bugging my piloting.
Is it a common problem for this model?
One thing that I've already noticed is that one of the last owners changed it's CDI for a Husqvarna one, and I'm not sure the stater is the original.
I've also never changed the CSI valve. Could it be the problem? If so, can anybody hit me with a link of a good on-line store for Cagiva parts?
