The missus gave birth to our first (little girl, weighing 8lbs) on Tuesday night. She had a water birth at home which was... interesting, but much more relaxed than sitting around in a hospital for hours on end. I never did follow through with my threat of sitting on the XBox while she was doing it though! It's all a bit wierd at the moment, but I actually got pretty much a full night's sleep last night (and long may it continue!). I image the hardest part (for me) will be going back to work next week.
Gotta say (in a cliche type way) that I am no fan of kids in general but it is very different, so far, when it's your own!  |
