I did post a thread awhile back asking how i could find out my MOT date of expiry without the certificate (its in a safe place..duh), i used the website so that’s sorted.
My Tax ran out at the weekend so i need to renew, how can i do this without my certificate??

Cheers Thumbs Up

Like Freshal, I always do it online and carried on riding until it turns up, generally only takes a couple of days. At worst you might get done for not displaying but its not happened to me in the seven or so years I've been using the direct gov site.

In addition, you could take log book to any mot testing station, bike or car and get a reprint of MOT for a tenner

The mainland should use the same system as N.I and supply a disc which you display on your car or bike and which is a good reminder.

You need nothing more than your log book. 'They' look up through the databases to ensure your MOT and insurance are valid.
