well just got back after a 2hr run on a fz8n courtesy bike and i thought i'd share my views (this are just my thoughts not to be taken as gospel)
engine is nicer than the divvy (xj6n), has a nice mix of revvy low gears and gruntier in the higher, the intake sound is great! riding position is a bit odd for me (6'3") high pegs and low seat are quite cramped, to the extent that if i sit up i can rest my knees on the foot pegs without too much of a stretch. the bars are low without being flat weight is on forearms and thumbs depending on how your sat. rear brake is good with plenty of feel but the front ones are awful there is about 1cm between off and fully on which makes it nigh on impossible to progressively brake. suspension is also on the stiff side (but is probably adjustable) rippled tarmac is transmitted back to the rider rather than supplely smoothed over.
Anyway that's all i can think of atm ____________________ "intelligent inattention is preferable to unintelligent tinkering"
