hi all,

i own a honda mtx 125, and its all stock parts.

i have seen a dep exhaust (silencer) going dirt cheap for the bike and i fancy going for it and fitting it to my bike, but a few things concern me.

1) is it classed as a modification fitting the pipe?

2) would it pass future MOT's if i kept it on for when i go for a MOT?

3) if i fit it, and don't tell my insurance and i am involved in an accident, am i going to get bummed by the insurance?

4) will i notice any performance / sound differences from the DEP exhaust compared to using a stock exhaust?

thanks all Wink

4 questions, 1 answer. Yes! Laughing

I am not sure about mot though. If it is road legal and doesn't make stupid amounts of noise you should be fine.
