If money and practicality were no object what would you drive?
My choice is the Morgan Aero 8 Aeromax I love Morgans and have driven a few but the Aeromax is something else it exudes sex and style and so it should as it was inspired by the most beautiful car the world had ever seen Bugatti Type 57 Atlantic.

Probably a Caterham R500 or similar. I like RWD cars that don't have too much grip Cool

https://gearpatrol.com/images/caterham.r500.jpg

I'm trying to decide between a Fisher Fury or Turbo-charged MX5 as a fun/trackday car at the moment though.

A Ford Falcon Interceptor. Would be an exact match to the original with a big supercharger. Can imagine it handling like crap & not being comfortable but that wouldn't matter. A few replicas around so should count as a car you can own & not just a one off movie car.

For one car to do everything, I'm struggling to see past a Merc C63 AMG. Given the budget of several cars, it'd get a lot more interesting...

Was about to say that I think they managed to get a 500 or so bhp v8 into them, I think there are only a few though

As spit-fire said I don't think I could pick just one car but right now it would have to be the Mercedes SLS AMG

There's a few replicas about but none of them seem to have the beefy engine fitted, they say they do but it's just a video of them them pootling down the road & back. Laughing

Was watching a Youtube channel where the dealer shows really in depth videos of cars he sells (chicagocarsdirect) & this one came up & it's stuck in my mind. What a car, the power is ridiculous. I'd live in it. Smile

I have suggested, several times, that we sell the house and buy a ludicrous car on the following basis;

You can live in a car but you can't race a house.

It never seems to convince the missus though.

6R4 Smile Austin Metro. Laughing

I sat in one of these, and was impressed with its heater.

On a similar note, i wouldn't mind living in one of those ridiculously expensive motorhomes, was on Top Gear once & it even had storage for a car underneath. The interior of the home was stunning.

I loved group B, if it wasn't for a few inconsiderate drivers setting themselves on fire and burning to death/mowing down spectators, we'd still be basking in it's goodness today.

I had a close up look around an RS200 once. They look ancient inside. Probably fun until you stuffed it into a hedge though (right next to the 6R4 death trap pictured earlier) Laughing

There are only a handful of original ones left though. Most got buried in ditches and gravel traps!

This one's up for only 175000 NZD (about £81,300), full international spec too (pushing out around 410BHP from the mid-mounted 3.0L N/A V6, 0-60 in around 3 seconds):
