A nice experience with the police...

Whilst returning from the shops in a rather spirtited fasion I overtook a car in a 40 zone, I was doing roughly 50 at this point.
Just as the road turned into a NSL the car I had overtaken started flashing blue lights. Arses, unmarked plod in a golf.

I pull over and take my lid off and the golf pulls along side me, copper in the passenger seat rolls down the window and says...

"Your rucksac is undone and it looks like your stuffs about to fall out!"

I thank him as my tea was in there, he then says " mind your speed eh? That was a 40 zone back there. With that he rolls the window up and they drive off!!

Thats my luck for this year over with, just proves all coppers arent gimps!

On the subject of open rucksacks, a mate of mine was on his way down into London village to pick up a substantial amount of weed.

He hadn't closed his rucksack properly, and he ended up spreading several thousand pounds worth of cash down the A10.

To be honest ive only met one copper that resorted to an actual fine, and even he was fairly polite and not too pisstaking in his manner.

I find if you take your lid off, say hello, answer questions politely and act remorseful you get off with a fair bit unless you were just being plain stupid or dangerous.



You watch me get booked next time im out for 35 in a 30 now ive said that.
