My dog went out earlier and came back... stinking of fox crap or whatever. And she's basically caked in it.
She fucking loves it.

Mine did it a few times until they learn that the pressure washer was the consquence
But they were Malamutes, and it didn't hurt them, just pissed them off with the noise of it.

Pressure washer?
MY dog is shit scared of a normal hose. Never mind the pressure washer.
Picture this, she's inside, doors closed etc, family watching tv,whatever.
I get the hose and turn the tap to start cleaning my car/bike and she starts crying/moaning and getting nervous, hiding next to my mum or sister
We have absolutely no idea why
She loves the rain though, and ponds. ____________________ '99 Hornet 600 , VFR 400 NC30 '92 , Kasawamasaki GT 550 , '98 Hornet 600

Pressure washer? High pressure injection is the first thing that came to mind (can that happen with water?) but I suppose it depends on how far away from the dog you are.
Most pressure washers come with warnings that tell you not to point them at people animals.
(But maybe I'm over reacting).

They are only a handful if you let them.
I've trained loads of dogs in my time, and found them to be the easiest because they are so much more like humans than most other dogs. Don't get me wrong they can be bugger some days and all right the next. My pup used to get mardy when my bitch came off heat but other than that they are like small children.
Except you can have a scrap with them.
I looked after my work mates one last October. He was forever complaining that she would shit and piss in the kitchen. Whilst he was away I introduced the simple command of Bog, then opened the kitchen door to the back garden. worked an absolute treat.
One of the main problems people have with them is the amount of exercise they need. Mine got 4mile in the morning then 2mile at dinner time, then 4at around tea time, and 1hour of sprints when it cooled down. In between then they were either kept in a cage in the living room or outside, if noone was in or left to roam around the house and garden. The 'problem' dogs come from lazy families who just take them for a walk round the block or not at all if it's raining. They really do need ALOT of exercise.
One of the best things I learnt from it was that even though alot of people disagree, a cage is probably one of the best things you can get for a dog. If they sleep in one from the very first day you get it then you'll have no problems with it. They grow to associate the cage with a place of safety and comfort where they can get away. So if your playing and they go to the cage you know they are tired and had enough.
I really do miss my 2, as my relationship broke down with my ex they were the one ones in the whole house who were happy to see me, and i'm not scared of saying I truly cried like a baby when I had to leave them behind, because they had been my best friends for nearly a year.
