To be completely honest ive never liked coppers. But I watched on the news what that blinded copper said he had been through and i find it disgusting how 20,000 people call raol moat a hereo. Thats like calling bin laden a god. GET REAL!! Raol Moat was an evil monster!

I despise the people that operate speed cameras but I could not help but sympathyse for the copper that got shot in the face. Any normal human being can understand where im coming from. I was pissed off at increased insurance and 3 points on my licesnse but at the end of the day I still have my eyesite. After seeing what that copper been through I find it hard to give a dam about mere speed cameras, points or any of that bs. My heart lies with that copper and his family and dam roal moat and his facebook fanatics, they are scum. Roal moat is a murderer and anyone who supports him is no better.

I dont know the name of the officer that was shot in the face but my heart lies with his family and rual moats victims and hope they make the best recovery possible. In the meantime that facebook page supporting the kunt that blinded him should be shut down.









All I can say is best of luck to the police officer and I wish he could make a full recovery as hes as much a human as as anyone on a haybusa or R1.

From everything I've seen and read so far, Moat appeared to be an aggressive, violent, disturbed waste of space.

The only thing that surprises me about these people is that 20,000 of them were smart enough to make use of Facebook!

Surely it's all a bit retarded to even get angry or rise up to the "we love moat" thingy??

Realistically how many people actually "support" him?

My guess would be that it's the equivalent of "neo nazi" kids who get swastika tattoos etc etc... and parade around with "we love hitler.. this and that". I'd wager there are many more people who go down the "nazi" road mainly for the shock/awe effect it has rather than any actual nazi sympathies. Obviously there will be some "true nazis" (can't believe I've just used that term Laughing Laughing ), but they will be in the minority.

I imagine a similar situation applies with ol' Moat.

If a "Bin Laden is sound as fuck" group was started, would you even bother with a responce or simply roll eyes and think "wow, thats retarded"?

The thing is though, it wasn't 35 thousand people 'supporting' him, it 35 thousand people commenting. You had essentially 20 thousand people calling the other 15 thousand idiots for supporting him.

The same thing happened with Jonathon Ross and that runt comedian guy. Ooooh!! there were 60 thousand comments on the BBC's Have Your Say website condemning the actions of blah blah blah!! No there wasn't, there was 60 thousand comments, a great many saying 'we couldn't give a flying fuck, why don't you all shut up.'

But the press smelling increased circulation (money and exposure) sell it like its some sort of outrageous act when in reality; yes there are some stupid people posting hysterical ill-informed messages, but there are twice as many decrying the first lot or pointing out how puerile the whole episode is.

As with anything, you just get some really thick people kicking off and it snow balls. I got sent the link for the facebook thing, a lot of my freinds commented (especially the iphone using policeman friend I have, it was right up his street.) I also got sent a message asking to join a David Rathband tribute site.

I ignored both, its all tawdry and adds to the general level of hysteria we seem so keen on propagating in the UK these days.
