Stop reading now if you don't want to hear a rant.

Since being 19......

My PC has broken down making my life difficult and it's probably going to cost me a new mb to fix Crying or Very sad

Today...........
Went to put an advert in a newsagents in Hammersmith. I was not quite sure which road the place was on.
I saw a police landrover and was riding very carefuly to avoid being pulled for something silly.........

I thought I saw the right road, started turning while carefuly avoiding going over the bus lane, then I suddenly saw an arrow on the road pointing towards me Exclamation Neutral Shocked
I'd just turned into a no entry road.
I stopped right away and hoped the police didn't see me. I heard them beep their horn behind me Crying or Very sad

The Police man checked my bike over and checked I had a valid license etc... Luckily I've been riding around with my L-plates on Smile I tried to convince him to let me off the points but he said he couldn't because he had to give me a fixed penalty notice for this offense, he did say he would if he could.

So 3 points and £60 fine it is.

Whoever said wisdom comes with age Rolling Eyes

/ end rant

Sounds like the pig just was in a bad mood or didin't like you etc.
If they /want/ to they can always let you off... especially for something like this, especially when you saw that you had done wrong and weren't carrying on because you'd realised it was wrong. There's nothing that /forces/ them to write down what you've done.

meh

Try being 24 :'(
(though it better be a lot better than 23... or there's no way I'm bothering with 25 Razz)

Try having the back wheel and bumper of a citroen ax hanging over zigzag lines by a pedestrian crossing (about a foot) and getting 3 points and £60 for it Twisted Evil

Bad luck m8, a bit harsh giving you points for it. Confused Neutral
3 points shouldn't effect insurance much.

I didn't even have a computer when I was 19. Crying or Very sad Come to think of it I don't now and I'm 23.

Points for going down a no entry road? That's the first I've heard of that. And a fine too?! Sheesh.

Points for going up a one way....gee, that's harsh, even if the consequences are shit if a car/bike was coming the other way...
