i have a derbi senda extreme 08, and have a standard exhaust but de-ristricted,

i think it sounds shit, so if i change the silencer to this...

https://www.adrenalin-pedstop.co.uk/p/BLACK-ANODISED-SILENCER-FOR-TE-2562.aspx

A. will it fit?
B. will it sound better?
C. will it need to be re-jet?

Or if that exhaust wont fit shall i get this... the first one..

https://www.opvoeren.nl/shop/uk/onderdelen_res.asp?Merk=Derbi&Type=Senda SM / Senda 2000 / Senda DRD&Afk=senda&Srt=demp&Srtn=Dempers&Srtuk=Silencers

A. by the looks i will need to cut original exhaust, but will i need to re-jet?

b.Possibly
c.No

you need to buy the correct complete exhaust system for those specific ones to fit.

Most will need rejetting, and you will probably have to adjust your air filter/carb and get it running perfect.. will be a bitch.

the ginneli silencer should fit aswell because it looks like you can just cut your original exhaunt and put the silencer on, because it has that rubber connector to join the two together,

tell me if im wrong, but thats what i was gna do Smile

You are wrong.

You don't join exhausts with a bit of rubber..

You need the actual pipe and the actual silencer/end can...

Otherwise its a bodge job and you will have a sh*t bike....
Go buy a full system or better still..save for a full test Wink

but i have the money so it dont matter, its only £50;. and but my mates exhaust is just joined like that... the pipe slides over the other one then the rubber seals it?

dont care if it wont make any difference i just want to know if it will fit.

i would get a full system, but dont want to piss about with the jets..

you dont have to weld anything, and the pipe take 5 mins to take off. where as with jets you gta take the carb out, then when you get it all back in you have to take it out again cuz you cant ever tell what size jet you need..

whereas if i jus get that silencer, all i have to do is take exhaust off, cut the standard pipe, slip new silencer pipe on, seal with the rubber, put a jublie clip around it jus in case, whack the exhaust back on, and job done, a good looking silencer !

Still a shit running bike... if you know how to do this...why post lol Laughing

Go buy your noisy end bit and fit it..but id still advise against it

I doubt it, jubilee clips look stupid...especially holding an exhaust on.
Rubber vs 150+ degree heat.. my trainers melt on my exhaust..and they are solid!

Run shit.. well given the attempt at doing the exhaust..it leaves me thinking do you do oil changes or do you just piss in the oil chamber?

Yea you could do that...but surely its false economy.

Just save and do full test or get a full exhaust system, only £100-£150 if that for your bike.

they sell the rubber with the exhaust so its heat proof.

so what your saying is it wont run shit at all will it, and no my bike is very well maintained..

and the point of not getting a full system was because i dint want to fuck about with the jets!

If your so worried about fucking with your jets then leave the bike alone. An end can wont do anything. If you want a louder exhaust just drill some holes in it or summat.

Cant really comment on that because i've never had experience with them but if they're not too expensive then go for it, and seeing as you have to take the carb off to change the reeds you can change your jets while your at it. Laughing.

All show no go...

Do it properly like has been said.

Full exhaust system, get the jetting sorted ( which isnt overly difficult, theres enough info on the interwebs for you to just buy the correct jets and install them)

I changed the exhausts on my 2stroker 250cc and sorted the jetting myself, its not overly difficult. Itll be part of the learning process....if you want to stay on bikes that is...
