just a quicky.

My superfour has it's m.o.t coming up soon and i only have 1 disc and caliper installed at the moment as the other disc is badly warped. The bike still stops well and to be honest they were too sharp with both calipers and discs but can i pass an m.o.t with just one set installed?

If it can meet the required efficiency then yes. If the remaining system is in good order I reckon it should make it.

oh, i also have a cycle computer fitted and the rev meter isnt accurate at all, as in it wont move till over 2k rpm and it's nowhere near right, the speedo is not working either, hence the cycle computer, although the computer is far more accurate than the clocks ever were. still passable?

You do not need a tacho (rev counter) for a MOT.
Cycle puters are ok as speedos but if the MOT man is ubber fussy he may demand that it is lit at night.

Provided a speedo is fitted ( and lit at night) it will pass, there is no requirement for the thing to actually work Mr. Green

You dont need a speedo to pass an MOT. I have a bike which has passed MOTs without a speedo.
