I am posting this here because Dragbikelive refuses to remove false information they reported on their website recently regarding my crash at Milan Dragway and I feel it’s the public’s right to know about it:
I tried to post this under their comments and the moderator refused to allow it to be put up or correct their report..

A few other people had commented as well that their comments had been removed or not put up.
It’s very apparent they are bias to the manufacturer of the tire that’s in question and refuse to allow anything they don’t like get put up.
I feel that they had no right reporting false information without checking it’s validity with those who were directly involved, not by hear say. Nem and I have purposely kept details of this incident off public forums to prevent the rumors of such information from getting changed every time someone relays it to the next person while it’s under investigation. We have also been told to not discuss details of the situation to anyone other than the manufacturer. Dragbikelive claiming they will not remove their false information unless we provide the real information is childish. If they’ve been told information they are reporting is false by the parties directly involved, there should be no further information needed for them to remove it.
When Dragbikelive was asked why my comments were not being allowed and why the false information was not removed …
this is what I got in return:

Eunice,
Questions have been asked many times as to specifics regarding the psi in your bikes tire. However direct questions from many on the internet have went unanswered by anyone that is associated with your team. The information that upsets you so much regarding the 6.5-7.0 psi was information provided to us by a witness and person that was at the track that came forward.
We considered publishing a story anyalizing the video along with reports from witnesses but decided against it. We are not here to lay fault on anyone.
Again, we are not interested in debating with you or anyone else as we only report the news. We simply could have chosen to not report your accident or post the statement, which WE asked for. However we thought it was news worthy at the time.
If you would like to give information on how much psi was in the tire we can certainly add your input to the comment response. Other than that we have no interest in turning the article comment section into a personal discussion board.
Thanks You

You have got to be kidding me? so instead of removing your Untruth you'd rather leave it up knowing it's false information?
My telling you it's not accurate should be enough for you to remove it. Should have nothing to do with our decision to not put it out on public boards.
We have avoided putting details out there on the web until we provided it directly to Shinko Themselves..
You know how rumors start and so called facts get distorted every time something is said from one person to the next. As you can see we only stated what happened and didn't get involved in the back and forth that was going on afterwards.
perfect example - you claiming to have been told by someone supposidly in the know from Milan.
We NEVER told anyone what PSI we were running at the track or after other than in a direct email to Shinko. And I guarantee you it was nothing close to what you reported INCORRECTLY! heck we never ran that low of PSI in ANY tire even Mickey's.
I did not ask you to turn your so called News Report into a personal discussion board.. I asked you to remove something that was UNTRUE! but it's def obvious you are not allowing anything that would potentially look bad for a product you helped make happen to get put up.
You are providing false information and misleading others to feel they are safe running a tire with obvious problems that apparently you nor the other distributors cared to rectify before. This issue has been brought to the attention of Shinko Distributors prior to my case and were brushed off. Do you really want me to take this to the public discussion boards and inform everyone how you refuse to correct your report and that you're content spreading false information even after it being brought to your attention?
And this was their Reply:

Eunice,
We are are fair. We have asked you directly to tell us what psi you were running and you will not.
You can make all the threats you want. All you have to do is answer the question. Once you give an answer of facts. We will then amend the comment that is posted with your information to counter. Why? BECAUSE we have facts from you to support it. Simple enough?
We would really like to have information from you! Not just vague
information from you saying "it was nothing close"
Your saying we should take your word for the truth isn't good enough
without giving us specifics.
As for your insinuation that we are bias. You are wrong. Eunice, we want to be accurate and get this straight with you, just answer a question. You say you have already told the manufacturer why not tell us?
We are NOT refusing to do anything...just refusing to do so with out you giving us facts.Give us facts from YOU the one involved and we will remove the part you are referring to on the basis of it coming straight from you and not a witness. If you wish for the information to not be posted publicly, that is fine, we can honor that.
That is as fair as it gets!

The minute you are told that the information is not valid is the minute you should have removed it.
Nothing else need to be said.
You refusing to post my request to remove it that it's not correct is indeed being bias.
Just as you refusing to post my reply below to a comment you did allow to be posted:

So to sum it up… don’t believe everything you read on Dragbikelive cuz they only want to report what they want to and if that means lies then so be it if it suits their needs.
And for the record in case you missed what this was all about.. we were NOT running 6.5-7 lbs PSI no matter what Dragbikelive reports...

You are correct that Dragbike should remove the statement of what Psi you were running at, or at least state that you dispute this figure.
As for your comments regarding the tyre manufacturer, you cannot expect them to print unsubstantiated claims, however by printing the alledged Psi which you dispute, they are showing a glaring double standard.
Is your tyre pressure a guarded secret? Certainly if this problem of tyres coming off the rims is becoming commonplace I would expect your sport to come out with a minimum pressure and begin testing, so secrets will come out. ____________________ Fallen Angel "Nae sniffing my seat now!!!!! "

sorry about putting this in wrong section... when I browsed through the sections this looked like it would have been the best fit for it.
Yes I knew this was not a US forum.. alot of my friends from other boards are from various countries and may or may not have been on this site at one time.. I had it book marked as a place I had visited from time to time.
we are in the process of trying to get teh manuf. to do something about this new Hookup tire that has caused major issues with 4 of us Prostreet Racers in a months time and because of that we advised to not disclose any specifics about the tire or setup until the situation has been fully investigated.
as mentioned before if he dont' want to remove the "reported psi" then he should allow my post to be put up saying that information is not correct..
Heck you need more psi than that to just set the bead let alone to put 500hp to the ground on.
As for the crash.. yeah I have it on my youtube... my daughter was in the stands recording the pass when the tire broke the bead around the 1000 mark at 170 mph causing the bike to get out of control.. I eventually decided to lay her down on her side before she hisided me or put me into the wall head on..
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6Tlr_OumA0
the bike was on a rail.. 1.28-60ft, 3.32-330ft, 4.97-1/8mile .. 170mph @ the 1000' - would have been a 7.48 @ 189-192 mph pass easy had it went right. Instead I cross the finish line on my butt for a final et of 7.73 @ 155 mph LOL
lucked out for both me and my oponent.. he had not passed me yet till I was going down for the count - was more worried about hitting him than hurting myself.
Again my apologies for sharing this here if you feel you'd rather have it removed because I have not been an active member I would completely understand..
Not sure those I knew are even still here I attached a photo of me on my old prostreet bike in the event that someone might better recognize me with it than on the green and white bike I was riding in the crash video..

This was posted today by Tim Ulmen of Play Things Racing on my thread on another forum we both frequent...
Many people at Shinko knew about this problem for almost 2 months before her crash. Cycle Concepts you dont know the whole story on this and everytime I read your comments on how the video looks and so on it makes me wonder why people even get on a forum and listen to this crap? As a matter of fact the heads of Shinko were in Martin for the AMA race and they talked to Ronnie and Anthony about the problems they have with the tires, when I mean heads of Shinko I mean the HEAD PEOPLE form SHINKO overseas came to see this problems fisrt hand. The Shinko people gave Ronnie and Anthony new tires, and when asked if they wanted the Hook ups that were a problem the Shinko people said " keep them do what ever you want with them" Spencer Cycle and Shinko knew of this issue. I like Doug and I like dragbike live, but the bottom line is this issue was kept under the rug and never mentioned to anyone. this is 100% fact no B S as I was there, How can you conduct a investigation on a tire and not take the 2 tires at issue? Anyone can say what they want I really dont care, but I held this info long enough . I video every pass of Anthony, Mikey, Sean Walsh, Shaun Roles, so when Anthony tried this tire we looked at it in super slow motion and its is unthinkable how bad this tire spun on the rim!!! This to me is not just a issue on if the tore is good or bad, but more so on how Shinko and others did nothing to inform others and conduct a proper investigation! |

also it does appear internet battles can be won when the masses come together
Just spoke to Doug from Dragbikelive over the phone and he has agreed to remove the incorrect information that was reported. Thank you Doug for wanting to speak to me over the phone regarding this issue and getting the situation straightened out.
