Just sold my 1998 Hornet due to wanting more power and some wind protection as I intend to start travelling further afield and using motorways. I like Fireblades especially the 929 but am struggling to find one locally for the right price and condition. Yamaha R6 year 2000 ish, really like the look of these, but its a 600, is there a big difference in power between the R6 and a Hornet ? Any other suggestions ? I want a sports bike btw Smile budget of £2000 max

you could get a 1999 zx9r for that money.

Better than the fireblades of the same year.

I like 'em!

Picked mine up recently for £1750.

Admittedly it has a bit of cosmetic damage but its not too bad and it has some other goodies which balanced that out.

Plenty about for similar money though Thumbs Up
