Looking at buying one of these and wondered if anyone has tried one, feedback is good.

Failing this i'll just get another cyclone like i had on old last bike

I haven't tried one but I'd be interested in the range of the pager. The microwave sensor is interesting, where would it be located to cover the whole of the bike?

Range is 300ish yards indoors/in town. I have to say it is the loudest alarm I have ever had.
They were 35 quid 2 years ago and the brand was "spy".

Pager range is pretty crap. Walls kill it. Maybe 30m, through a couple of walls and that's your lot really. Not too much great distance even in line of sight. Microwave sensor under seat (on stuck near the top) on maximum (battery-murdering sensitivity) will detect just about good enough. Trivially disabled system, just unplug/cut the wire from the battery, or unplug the microwave sensor.

Overall OK for the money if you can put up with the caveats.

I posted about this stuff asking for advice here: https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=203224

Care to share where your fob sensor is positioned calyx, as it's clearly a better place than mine!
